US prez Trump appoints Eros Plc’s Prem Parameswaran as member PAC on AAPI


MUMBAI, Jan 23, 2019: US president Donald Trump has appointed Eros International Plc Group CFO and President of North America Prem Parameswaran to be a Member of the President’s Advisory Commission (PAC) on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI).

As a member of the twelve-person commission, Parameswaran will work with all the agencies of the federal government to improve the health, education and economic status of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Hailing from all over the nation and from a wide range of disciplines, Commission members represent the diverse AAPI community.

“It is a great honor to be selected by the President of the United States to serve and represent the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders on the President’s Advisory Commission. As an Indian American from New York and the son of Indian immigrants who came to this country as students in pursuit of the American dream, I am honored by this appointment,” Parameswaran said, on his appointment.
