Pulwama Terrorist identified as Adil Ahmad Dar, joined Jaish Last Year


He was nicknamed “Adil Ahmad Gaadi Takranewala” and “Waqas Commando of Gundibagh.” The terrorist who blew himself up along with 350 kgs of explosives killing 42 CRPF men, Adil Ahmad, had joined Jaish-e-Mohammad in December last year.

Srinagar, February 14, 2019: It has finally been confirmed that the Scorpio SUV that rammed a CRPF bus in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, killing over 42 jawans on Thursday, was driven by Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist Adil Ahmad Dar.

Adil Ahmad, reportedly only joined the terror outfit last year in December. There were 350 kg of explosives in the Scorpio that he rammed into a bus carrying some 40 personnel, part of a convoy of 2500 CRPF personnel according to police.

His photo and videos emerged soon after the Pulwama attack the worst in decades. In the video, he is seen strapped with guns and spewing venom against the Indian forces.

In a video reportedly made just before the attack the JeM terrorist says, “My name is Adil, I joined the Jaish e Mohammad a year ago. After a year’s wait, I have got the chance to do what I joined the Jaish for… By the time this video reaches you, I will be in heaven… this is my last message for the people of Kashmir,” Adil Ahmad says in the video, as part of an anti-India rant.

He is seen armed with rifles and standing in front of what appear to be Jaish-e-Mohammad banners in the video.

The scale of the attack has sent shock waves through Indian intelligence agencies, defence forces, and the Indian government. Till Thursday it was believed that the entire leadership of Jaish has been wiped out from the Valley over the years.
