Ramadan Mubarak everyone! Just wanted to reach out to all strangers, acquaintances, colleagues, friends, and family and wish them the best of health, peace, and piety during this blessed month of Ramadan and beyond. Let us use this month to mend relations, connect and reconnect. We seek repentance and forgiveness from the Almighty and yet we cannot forgive our fellow Muslims and Non-Muslims? Please accept my apologies for anything that I may have done unintentionally or intentionally that hurt you in any way. That was not my goal nor that is not how I was raised. Let us join in pure solidarity and take advantage of our faith in improving our plight and let us be charitable. Pray for us as we will pray for you. The world is in crisis and imbalance and we have been given this religion as a cure so let us put it into practice.

As technology has put us in “contact” with people around the globe, the number of communications may have increased but certainly, the quality has decreased. We want our children to grow up in a world that we helped lay the foundation for the way many of our immigrant parents sacrificed – the likes of which I wish I could do a fraction of.

Let us be examples of humanity and help Muslims and Non-Muslims alike as our faith is peace and brotherhood. Let us use our legal talent, medical talent, religious knowledge and skills for change and prosperity. Let us not have the evil of jealousy, envy or hatred block us off from success. Let us smile and rejoice at another sister or brother’s success. Time is precious so work towards the basic, undeniable principles that all humans stand for. Let us be protected from the evil eye and the devil’s work.

Our faith is the final embodiment of the oneness of God that came via message to our Jewish brethren first, then our Christian brethren and then sealed and perfected in its final form with “The Quran (Reading | Recitation.”) May you all be blessed and to all my Non Muslim brethren (Jewish, Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Jain, Buddhist and others) please ask your Muslim friends questions and join us in our celebrations to foster kinship amongst the masses. Do not be shy! May all of our lawful supplications be answered! Peace. Peace. Peace. Ameeen.
